My Experience
In 2022, I became a UKCP-accredited Core Process Psychotherapist, completing a Master’s training at the Karuna Institute; a centre known for its pioneering integration of Buddhist psychology and Western depth psychotherapy. This mindfulness-based approach, grounded in presence and relational awareness, now forms the heart of my work.
Previous to this, I qualified as a BACP-accredited counsellor (Humanistic Existentialist Counselling), and had worked as a teacher in Further and Higher Education for around 22 years.
I am a BACP-accredited counsellor and UKCP-accredited psychotherapist with over 12 years’ experience, combining trauma-informed practice, somatic awareness, and contemplative depth.
